West tisbury is known for farmlands and mellow country living. Central between all towns you can get anywhere within a 15 minute drive.
Nip and Tuck Farm always has an assortment of new calves with their mothers and draft horses in the fields of this working farm.
The farm stand is now run by Ghost farm and offers fresh vegetable flowers yogurt and more.
North Tisbury Farm is another favorite with artisan breads and a large selection of delicious cheeses.
The Agricultural Fair is held in West Tisbury in August and there are artisan and farmers markets weekly.
Long Point Beach on the South shore has both the ocean waves and a pond for the less adventurous. Lambert’s Cove beach is a favorite resident’s only beach. The sandy trail leading to the water and beach which overlook the Elizabeth Islands.
